This might be in violation to GDPR as exporting in a proprietary format is not sufficient to adhere to data transportability and limiting other means of export certainly is in violation of GDPR.

It is possible to export entire notebooks, but it doesn’t work exactly the way the Evernote Help article says. Here is the article: Export notebooks – Evernote Help & Learning. I’m using the latest Big Sur and the latest Evernote, and the instruction “right-click on a notebook and select Export Notebook” does not work. Instead, you must select the notebook and then click on the 3 dots at the top of the note list for that notebook. That’s where you find the Export Notebook access.
