Exclude from tagging not carrying through to DTTG4

I have noticed a behaviour I think is incorrect. In DT I have my tags organised into groups with the groups excluded from tagging. The groups do not show in the tagged documents:

In DTTG the groups show as tags. The info for the group has it included for tagging and I am unable to change the slider to excluded it. The slider always reverts back to not excluded:

The document shows both the tag and the group:

The ‘Type’ should be excluded from tagging like it is in DT?

I have noticed the same issue with my tag groups. It’s already present in DTTG 3.

I believe it may be contributing to DTTG 4’s low performance, because it seems that those tags are added after every sync, and have to be indexed - only to be removed again in desktop DT4.
