I would like to copy the URL info to the Finder Comments. Can a line of code be added to above script to do that? Also, are comments copied over by default to Finder Comments upon executing the script?

Yes, Finder Comments are exported as part of the file metadata.

Regarding the requested change, here is an adjusted version:
Export and Delete with URL in Comments_tr.scpt.zip (5.7 KB)

Hello I have used this script in a smart Role but in the Protokoll is a message with “Fehler -1708”. Can you help me?

Welcome @comchris

  • Do you have a folder on your desktop named export?
    • If not, make one (and it’s case-sensitive) and it should work.

Also, you can edit the script to point to a different folder, if you’d like.
