Expose imported files to Spotlight?

I imported a few PDFs into a DB, and Spotlight cannot find them. Spotlight does find DEVONthink documents with the .dtp2 extension. Is there a way to expose to Spotlight the PDFs and other documents in the Files.noindex folder?

Choose File> Database Properties for each database that you wish to be indexed by Spotlight and check that option.

Thanks, Bill, I had set that option, but didn’t recognize the pdfs. Why not? I started the searches from a Spotlight window, and Spotlight listed only “.dtp2” files, with coded names. If I start Spotlight from the menu bar, it lists original names and extensions.

Choose “Show All” in the Spotlight list.

You can identify database items by their icon or by Kind. If you select and Open a database item, it will open within the database.
