since my database growes, DTP´s start time becomes longer and longer… Not always i need all the scripts bells and whistles loaded, when I want to archive fast a webpage in the default folder.

I vote for less scripts and more real features
The startup time is not related to loading scripts/plugins as this causes almost no delay. The time depends almost only on the size of the database but this will become faster in the future.
