Feature Request - Include children of bulleted list in transclusion

HI,

Note

This is my important post regarding my item [[DieHard]]

  • I like Bruce Willis
  • I like Die Hard 1

Currently Behaviour from Transclusion is it will only take the line / paragraph from which it was picked.

Requested Behaviour to include bullet items below the primary topic

Why would you limit this behaviour to lists?

In my n00b head , that might be an easier request for Devonthink Team to handle since list and sublist still has some structure inside.

Otherwise some sort of delimiter would be needed to define

Well, I wanted to point out that there is no explicit delimiter in MD. So one would have to invent some kind of rule or heuristics to do what you want.

While that might be true (or not), it does not explain why lists should be handled differently then, e.g., blockquotes. Or the next paragraph for that matter.

in my n00b head , Logically It made sense when I start a list regarding a topic & have subtopics inside , subtopics will ideally be related in some form to the topic.

I think another way could be in Markdown to consider headings , if [[DieHard]] is in the heading , we can do copy everything below it which would be “folded”

You can achieve that with the details element of HTML.

Could you please guide on this ?

Since HTML is not on-topic here, I’ll only post the relevant links from MDN
