Feature Request re: Smart Rules

Unless there’s a way to do this that I’m unaware of, I’d like to be able to enable/disable a smart rule.

For example, I have a rule that will lock documents after 30 days if they haven’t been modified. I’m currently evaluating whether I want this to occur and would like to disable the rule, instead of deleting it. I’d rather not delete it because 1) I might want to use it later, and 2) I might make another smart rule based on this one, and would like to refer to it later.

In the Perform following actions just change it to on demand.

Yup, that’ll work. Thanks.

You can also add a Cancel action at the top of the smart rule’s actions… or at any other point in the action chain.

Is it possible in Smart Rule to set the search to all selected databases but except some locations?

No. Locations are not a criterion.
You can search a targeted location and all its subfolders, or exclude subfolders when checked.

You could also exclude groups from searching in the Info inspector, but this would obviously have a farther effect than just in smart rules.

Actually not yet but soon

This is exactly what I was asking for )
Glad to hear about “soon”, thanks
