Currently adding a Markdown record is cumbersome as the record’s name (if the name field is empty) will be the first line:
This makes it necessary to either
- first write the name into the name field
- select it
- copy
- tap into the text field
- write a
#and a space - paste the copied name
or
- first write the heading
- select it (without the leading
#) - tap into the name field
- paste
- select it (without the leading
It would be so much easier to create a Markdown record if there was an option that strips any leading # (no matter how many) before it’s used as the name.
