Currently custom metadata can be a Set, with only 1 option applied out of a list, or Boolean, 1 yes/no checkbox. However, say I have 3 lists of 20 items each that should each be checked yes/no; or 1 list of 70 items. In that case, creating dozens of separate Boolean values would be impractical. Using multi-line or rich text requires copy-pasting information repeatedly, since there aren’t pre-made values.
So it would be very useful to have a Custom Metadata type that functions as a pre-made checklist; or the ability to collect groups of Boolean values into different collapsible lists.
Relatedly, it would be useful to have the item link type be able to link to multiple items, rather than just 1. Inserting multiple item links in rich metadata is possible, though again, that involves a lot of copy/pasting.
