Hi everybody!
I am using a simple declutter and edit/save html firefox plugin to save interesting web content.
This works fine (most of the time) except for one issue: The output HTML file has an encoding problem on DTTG. See following screenshot. Not on DT3 on mac - only DTTG.
Here an example file. Images are added to the HTML source, which works otherwise fine on mac and mobile.
Does anybody here know the problem or has any suggestions?
Any input is appreciated!
Kind Regards,
Mathias
The HTML file does not specify a character encoding. Not a DTTG problem but one of the services you use.
I’m confident that Berliner Zeitung knows about character encoding…
@chrillek Thanks for the quick reply and for taking the time to look into the source.
What surprised me is that the Mac DT doesn’t mind.
You don’t happen to know how to add the encoding to the html file? I’ll find out myself, but it’ll be a deep dive for me.
Note the document frameworks used in DEVONthink and DEVONthink To Go aren’t the same.
Usually, it’s declared in a meta element. MDN knows all about it – I have only my iPhone right now.
