File exchange on websites

Hi there,

I am dealing with a lot of file up- and downloads on websites.
To do this I create a temporary folder on the desktop and export all the files from across different folder. In fullscreen view this is not easy to handle. In addition I often need to create PDF files from word documents.

After uploading I need delete the folder and the temporary created PDFs within all DT folders again.

I wonder if there might be a better way to handle this kind of tasks.

I am thinking about a “virtual finder folder” provided by DT where some special marked documents appear all together.

You could actually use an indexed folder (see File > Index…). Especially as DEVONthink 3 improves the Finder integration a lot. The new smart rules of DEVONthink 3 might also be useful in this case.
