Is it possible to filter by kind/file type. For example, I have an indexed database of videos that include both the videos and their associated .xml files (with similar names so they alternate in most sorted views). I do not want to delete the .xml files but usual don’t wish to see them in the list of files (just the videos). I can sort by kind etc to separate them but often I want to sort by other criteria which then includes the .xml files again. Is this possible or should it be a feature request? Many thanks…
No you cannot hide certain file types in the item list.
If you created a local smart group, you could specify a criterion of Extension is not XML or Kind is Video.
