first column of sheets

I just imported an Excel sheet into my DTPO database with biographical information. No problems at all importing but there is one thing I notice:

DTPO converts the first column from the original Excel sheet to name the individual records. At the same time this first column is retained so now these data appear twice in the DTPO sheet list view in two adjacent columns: as name of the record, and as the first actual (A) column of the sheet. Is there some way to alter this? Or can i simply (and savely) delete the first column?


You can delete the column if you want to of course.

Thanks, i guess i didn’t realize it could be, well… so obvious :blush:

I just exported a sheet and reimported it into Excel and see the record name column turns up as a separate column so deleting is indeed save.
