I have a memory of the ability to have Groups appear in a floating window. This was handy, I recall, as a way of keeping a list of groups in view for quick drag-and-drop filing of notes.
Does this capability still exist? If it does, I can’t find the triggers.
That was a feature of version 2.x but is not part of the revised user interface of version 3.x, both the Sorter and the sidebar should now be sufficient for drag & drop. However, you could detach Go > To Group… from the window for similar results.
