Hi, I’d like to pick this up again: Folders for Favorites and Smart Rules - #10 by BLUEFROG
In Sept. 2023, this was marked “planned for upcoming releases” - as far as I can tell, there is no way to currently group favorites yet.
It looks like this has been a request since 2021 and for me this would really make things easier.

This is supported since DEVONthink 4.0. Just open the contextual menu for the favorites and use New Group, then add favorites via drag & drop to the new group. Same is possible for smart groups & rules.

I tried the context menu on the word “Favorites”, where I would expect this option to be - nada. When I tried it on an existing favorite, I got “new group” - this does what I was looking for…! Yipiie.
