I am clipping to DTTG from Safari on iPadOS.

I am frustrated by need to use the > icon to select the next option dialog. This two step process to clip a Web page is one step too many. Please consider redesigning the panel, ideally so that users can make all required selections on one input dialog box, click SAVE/CLIP or CANCEL, and complete the process to save the Web page.

Continuing on the above, the action that follows the Done menu option after the second page in the dialog box is unclear. Why does this for example not say Save or Clip. And if you cannot / will not make just one dialog page but insist to keep this second page, why not also have a Cancel button at this page? Why must we use the < (back) icon to go back to Cancel. Again, one step too many here.

I am also confused by the variations in how to go into/out of the option selections for tags versus labels. If I choose to set a tag, the tag option disappears from the bottom left selection and I see no immediate way to get out of selecting a tag. The selection is “stuck” in place. If I select to put a label on the item, the entire details disappear, the label selection appears, and I had to guess (luckily) that I could get out of the choice by reselecting the label menu option that is now at the top of the input rather than staying fixed at the bottom. And, as with above, the option to select a label input keeps the Cancel button but the option to select the type of clip removes the Cancel button.

I’d also appreciate having a way to add a brief text note to a clip, especially using the iPad pencil input to translate hand writing to text.
