Perhaps I am not understanding some aspect of the setting correctly, but I have tried to set the font and margin width for the fullscreen editor. Yet, for some reason, none of these changes are taking place. Any idea why that might be? Do these settings only work for certain file types? For context, I’m using a Mac M1 Pro and have already tried restarting both Devonthink and my computer. Any help appreciated!
What kind of documents are you experiencing the issue with?
All documents. Plain text, rich text, formatted note, markdown. Am I understanding the setting correctly that the fullscreen settings should adjust the editor view options?
I guess you’re right – setting the font for full-screen editing doesn’t do anything when I’m in full-screen mode, editing an MD file, for example. Perhaps @bluefrog knows more about that.
These settings are only used by fullscreen document mode.
As in, when you open a document (plain text, rich text, etc.) and put that document into full-screen mode? If so, that’s exactly what I’ve been trying, but the settings aren’t applied.

See View > Fullscreen > Document
That solved it! Very strange that this is different from the standard fullscreen (i.e., the one made with the shortcut command + control + F). Thanks for the help, though!

Document fullscreen mode has been a feature in DEVONthink for a very long time. It is distinct in that it’s the document, not the window, that’s being displayed in fullscreen. This provides a simple – and some say, quieter – place to write.
