Get most recently added item via iOS Shortcuts

I’m trying to build an iOS Shortcut to add a comment to the most recently captured DT item. How can I find the most recently added item? My current solution is to use 'Search for" with a query like Additiondate:This hour and select the last item. It seems this delivers consistent results (it’s sorting the results based on Additiondate?).

Is this the suggested approach or would there be something better?
