Global inbox not syncing DTTG4

Apart from having to re-register every time I go back into DTTG4 (known issue), I have noticed that the Global inbox is not syncing,

Items from DTTG4 go to DTP4 fine. If I move them into another database in DTP they still show as in Global Inbox in DTTG4. I have tried pressing the sync cloud in DTP and changing settings so DTP Syncs on exit, but DTTG4 refuse to update to current state of the DTP Global Inbox.

I am using iCloud (CloudKit) to sync.

I have investigated a bit further. Items appear to have got ‘stuck’ when I migrated from DTTG3 to 4. New items transfer both ways successfully. The stuck items were removed from DTP Global Inbox before I migrated and may not have benn synced with DTTG3.

What is reported in DEVONthink’s Window > Log or DEVONthink To Go’s Settings > Log?

Nothing in DTP log. For DTTG4 two message from when I very first started DTTG after installing this morning.

Solved it.

I rebooted my Ipad, resigned into DTTG4, selected the DTP licence tick and then forced a Global Inbox sync.

The inboxes now match at last.

Without logs it’s impossible to tell, but it certainly could be the sync data wasn’t available to DEVONthink To Go yet.

Rebooting iPad and iPhone solved the same / similar problem for me, so thanks for reporting your solved status back on the forum - it pointed me in the right direction!
