@MsLogica I´ve spoken to a medical colleague of Blanc´s and he has given me a contact to a medical organisation that Blanc worked with. I´d love it if the paramedic work he was involved in could be supported. I´ll get back to you as soon as I know more. Thanks again.

My heart has sunk to the floor as I learn of this now. I’m absolutely devastated!
Your brother, and you, and your family, are all in my thoughts today as I grapple with this news.
Blanc was such a rare one-in-a-million gem; tirelessly charitable in helping anyone. He had such a penchant for doing this with absolute class and gentle humor. Helping others was never a chore for your brother—I could tell he LOVED doing it. It is people like him who genuinely do make this world a better place.
Blanc set the standard for the culture within this little enclave on the internet That leaves a void, but your words are very meaningful as we try and reconcile this loss, by striving to do things to improve the world around us, in ways that are meaningful and perpetual.

Thanks so much for your moving message. I forwarded it to my family and they were cheered by the wonderful portrait you painted of Blanc. I wish I could lessen the shock and the sadness for you and everyone affected. I can only say that he must have felt so at home here. The many heartfelt comments show what a wonderful little community this is. He wasn´t one for sticking around people who didn´t care about what they did – he will gladly have given and it feels good to know how much you all were a part of his life.

I’m new to this helpful and friendly community, but in a very short space of time I could see from searching through the forums how active and helpful @Blanc was. Condolences to family and friends.
It highlights for me something quite amazing - DEVONthink/DEVONtechnologies is not just software, it’s a community of helpful people - and that’s a pretty special thing.
