Will DevonThink ever make an option to sync Google Drive or OneDrive like DropBox and iCloud? I am using Google Drive for Business and have migrated the majority of documents to Google Drive and am wondering how I can use Pro 3 with Google Drive. Indexing cannot be an option because Pro 3 downloads all materials to index every time I run it. Also, to my limited knowledge, importing is not an option either. Would you advise me how to use Google Drive with Pro 3? Thanks.

You can’t sync with Google Drive as they don’t offer WebDAV services. We have commented at length about the problems and added burdens with adding cloud services. It’s not a trivial matter and requires maintenance and upkeep. However, the request is noted.
I’m confused about this—can you explain more? I use DEVONthink to index local Dropbox folders so that I can work with the files in DT but use Dropbox collaboration features. I suspect that Drive indexing works the same way—use the Drive desktop app to sync your files to a filesystem location and then index that location with DT. You’re saying this creates issues?

Please please please add Google Drive syncing. I imagine with your sync code it’s a heck of a lot of work, especcially since they don’t offer a WebDAV interface.
But - lots of academics are using DEVONthink, and Google Drive/GSuite is a big deal for universities (at least in my experience). Unlimited GDrive storage is given to every student, and that means I don’t have to worry about running out of storage space. With iCloud, I have to either watch my databases like a hawk, or pay for storage every month on a very limited student budget.
Lastly, sync encryption would take worries about Google’s privacy policy out of the equation.

Hello! This is my first post here. Since Google Sheets uses RSS, can they be connected to DEVONthink?
I also support the request to integrate with GSuite, for schools and academics it would be awesome!

It is unclear in what you would be hoping this to work. Please clarify.
Just so you know too, having unlimited G Suite storage is great and all, but you still need to store your DEVONthink database(s) locally. That can be on your machine’s internal hard drive, an external hard drive, or even network attached storage, but you can’t store your database solely in G Suite.
