Help: trigger web clipper with URL in clipboard

Hi, Guys!

What I want to do is this:

  1. I have a URL for an article from a website on the clipboard (Mac)

  2. Open the DEVONthink web clipper

  3. Use the clipboard as input for the URL in the web-clipper, like this:

Is there some way of doing this?

I’ve got BetterTouchTool, Keyboard Maestro, Automator and Applescripts to play with. I’m not a super-advanced user of any of them, but if it is relatively straight forward, I’m happy to give it a go.

That would work but I think the easiest option would just be to open the Bookmark in the browser and clip it from there.

Thank you for the pointer. The real problem is that for some inexplicable reason, my preferred RSS-reader (on Mac) doesn’t support export directly to DEVONthink  It does support Safari though, so with a bit of automation, the friction of going through Safari to DEVONthink shouldn’t be too high.

In case you didn’t know, you can add an RSS feed to DEVONthink too.
