I am trying to collect a set of files by file type. I know this must be easy but I am failing. I have search set to a top-level directory in my database and want to collect all (recursive) PNG files for some further processing.
My expectation is that when I select the smart rule I should see a listing of matching files. No files show up.
You exclude subgroups. Intentionally?
Btw: DT has no “directories”, only groups. They are a logical grouping, not a physical one (as directories provide)

@b3d0u1n I’m not sure what the problem is. An exact replica of your rule works fine here. Do you have multiple groups named “Capture” (perhaps in different databases) and did you choose the right one? Are you sure they’re PNG images?

Thank you both for your replies. I have shot my own foot. One of the subgroups - specifically the one I’ve been interested in is on a path with a parent group which is excluded from ‘search’.
