Can someone show me how to create a Smart Group in which I see all groups:
- Tagged with a specific tag
- In which I have added, modified, or created any documents or groups within a given period of time
I think that the longer option would work, but it gives me zero results. I used Claude to help me develop the second option. It does bring up groups but I am not sure that they are the kind of groups I am asking for.
Note the Created, Added, and Modified timestamps…

From some quick testing I conclude that the Modified timestamp of a group changes:
- When items are created/deleted inside the group
- When items are moved to/from the group
- But not when the Modified timestamp of an item inside the group changes.
That is, simply making some changes to a document and saving doesn’t update the Modified timestamp of the parent group(s). Is that correct, @BLUEFROG?
Just something that seems good to be aware of here.
Yes, that’s correct. A document isn’t a group nor is a group a document so they have independent timestamps.
It makes perfect sense and that’s what I suspected, just wanted to confirm.
From how I read Anna, she wishes the smart group to include groups in which she has modified only documents – and I thought it was worth pointing out that that’s not possible.
Thanks for asking this question. I am trying to find out what projects I have worked on, and I thought the way to do so is to find out in which of my tagged groups, I have made any changes such as making changes in a document, adding or removing files.
