Highlighting Text in Emails

Morning.

I’ve imported an email into DTPO. The email is displayed in alternative view. Therefore, I can select some text of the email. But obviously I can not highlight this text, as I could do, if it would be a PDF file with recognized text. ⇧⌘L is grey/inactivated.

So, the question is: How can I highlight text in imported emails?

.eml files are not editable, so highlighting is not possible. You could convert the file to, for example, a Formatted Note or RTF?
