How can I create scheduled incremental back ups with Export?

I have a very limited understanding of how to use scripts, and am trying to see if I can do perform the follow function…

I want to select particular files / databases from within DTP, and the File > Export >

Files & Folders function to save my files and their corresponding folders to an outside location. But I would like to do this through a scheduled, incremental back up. How can I do this? Thanks!
