How can I stop importing emails or add another account - eml / mailmate

Mac OS Tahoe, DVT 4.3 server

Bit of a strange question:

I have mailmate as a mailclient. MM saves emails in .eml format. So no mbox format.

At some point I must have added some of the accounts to DVT to a Database Emails in the folder mail. This not an indexed folder. In that folder I see nicely the different accounts with the name of the account as it is in MM. Since these mailboxes and folders are clearly up to date there is some form of automatic import / mapping.

Apple Mail is NOT configured.

I have 2 DVT instances but the database in the other computer is not opened.

So my question?

  • how did I import these email-accounts?
  • how can I stop importing (apart from deleting the database)
  • how can I add another account?

I would think that maybe it is the other way around: Mailmate having a script to add all emails to DVT? (such extensions/bundles) exist for MM. I can’t find it.

But maybe (probably) I am overlooking somethink obvious …

That’s actually the most likely explanation, DEVONthink doe neither support automatic email importing/archiving nor email accounts. Is MailMate scriptable at all?

Mailmate exports to DT via a bundle (Settings > Bundles). Here is the github page:
