How can I switch from iCloud legacy to new iCloud(CloudKit)

I currently have DTTG3 on my iPad & iPhone and use Devonthink on my Mac, I have used iCloud to sync between devices from day 1 but would like to move from iCloud(legacy) to the new iCloud CloudKit. How would I go about doing this?
Sorry if this has been answered, I’ve browsed the forum but couldn’t see anything relating to moving between the 2 iCloud sync methods.
