How can I use the DT AI

Hello,

Is it possible to use DEVONthink’s internal AI without external ones? How does this work? Where do I need to activate what?

Yes, as long as you do not set an external AI model in the settings, DEVONthink will work this way. Our own internal AI is part of the technical foundation of DEVONthink and does not need to be activated separately. But where can I ask the AI? Chat doesn’t work. How can I tell the AI, for example, to rename files?

This requires external generative AI, see Settings > AI > Chat

and what is include with your KI? I can’t find anything…

@anon72939375 you are asking a bunch of questions easily answered by the documentation and this massive forum. I suggest checking those out while you “kick the tires,” so to speak. You’ll likely find the wealth of information helpful.
