How do you recognize the original file against the replica?

Hey!

I find really useful the replicate option, so I can have an exact copy of a file on other folder and update it at the same time. However, I’ve notice that if I move the original file to other place, the replica disappears. So, how can I recognize the original file from the replica?

Usually moving shouldn’t affect replicants (and they’re all identical, there’s no original). How exactly did you move the item? To a different database? Or via See Also & Classify?

Dragging and dropping. But, now I CAN’T reproduce it… perhaps I had it in the global inbox and I moved it to a database?

That’s possible - moving to another database doesn’t retain replicants as they have to be located in one database.
