Apple notes is for the equivalent of Post-It’s. DT is for the equivalent of notebook writing. Post-It notes have to be special to be added to the notebook, or worth re-writing. Otherwise they stay on the wall/desk forever 
But, I don’t like this system and am pondering how I feel about moving it all in the DT even if it’s just ends up as lots of Markdown files with one sentence each.
