How long will DTTG3 be able to sync to DT4?

Hello,

I own an older iPad that, unfortunately, cannot be upgraded to DTTG4 due to iOS limitations.

Has DEVONtechnologies already decided how long the synchronization will remain functional?

I searched the forum for this information but was not able to find it. Right now, the sync still seems to work without any problems, which is great.

I can’t speak for them, but I don’t see why it would stop working. If you use features from DT 4 that are not available in DT(TG) 3, those won’t sync. Obviously. So, if you use audited databases in 4, you won’t have them audited in 3.

Revision-safe databases cannot be synchronized to DEVONthink 3 or DEVONthink To Go 3 (as this would be a simple possibility to bypass the protection & logging).
