⌥+Left arrow closes a specific (selected) folder and all subfolders. Is there also a shortcut to close all open (non selected) folders? Thanks!
This question was raised and discussed several times before in the forum. The search function will reveal those threads.
My workaround is ⌘a, ⌥left arrow, which works quite well.

Yes, but be cautious before pressing the right arrow 
If you have thousands and thousands of documents and groups, this has the potential to stall.
Ok, I don’t have that many yet. But I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks for the hint
Ah, and I have a backup in case something gets lost after a crash.
