How to hide "Inbox" in sidebar of Finder window?

How can I permanently hide the DEVONthink Inbox in the sidebar of a Finder window?

I read the article and the comments about the Inbox which appears in the sidebar of a Finder window on this page here blog.devontechnologies.com/2015 … s-storage/ but it did not address my question.

When I remove it with traditional methods (right-click “Remove from Sidebar”) it comes back the next time that I launch DEVONthink. It confuses me when navigating my Mac and saving files. So how do I get it out of sight in Finder, forever?

You are reporting abnormal behavior. I just confirmed that removing it from the Sidebar and relaunching DEVONthink doesn’t recreate it on its own. Try disabling the option in DEVONthink > Install Add-Ons to see if that makes a difference.

It stopped coming back. All is good now.

The reason for coming back was maybe because I switched between version 2.10 (I had renamed the older version of the app) and the new updated version 2.11. I apologize for reporting this too quickly and stirring confusion.
