How to link a PDF to another PDF for the graph view?

I want to create a (manual/forced) connection between two PDFs. How can I do this?

I tried putting a markdown link with the Item Link in the Finder Comment, but in the Graph View no connection appears.

I’m not sure what you specifically mean by “connecting to another PDF.”
One way to make it appear in the Graph View is to copy any of the Item Links, Page Links, Selection Links, or Annotation Links from the PDF, and then add the link to another PDF, as shown in the image below.
