How to make variants on PubMed plug-in?

Hello all,

I’m trying to make two variants on the PubMed plug-in. One that searches only the book titles (website is “http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search&DB=books”), and one that searches journal articles more selectively (just the abstract, for example, or keywords).

How can I do this? The included PubMed plug-in has a second file that looks like gibberish on my computer, so it looks like there’s more to the search than the XML file…

The PubMed plugin is a Cocoa plugin and can’t be modified. Therefore you’ll have to create a new XML plugin for this task.

Ok. Is there a way to use wildcards in LinksMatching so DA follows all links begining with a certain address?

Sure. Just add a * character to the beginning and/or ending of the link.
