I deleted accidentially the wrong page of a PDF file. In order to avoid saving the file without the deleted page. Ich hit Cmd+Q, because I thought DT4 would ask me whether I want to save the changed file. But DT4 quit without asking me. Then I restarted DT4 but the deleted page is unfindable for me.
Where can I find the deleted page?
Did you enable versioning in File > Database Properties? Then you could restore an older version via the new Versions inspector. Recommended after accidental actions are also Edit > Undo or Data > Revert to Saved…

Thanks @vinschger and @cgrunenberg. It’s my double failure. I had not activated versioning and I shret the paper after scanning and then deleted the wrong page before makinge a backup.
Sometimes learning is painful.
Are you using Time Machine?
