How to Show Search Hit Count Next to Folders in Left Sidebar?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to display search hit counts next to folders in the left sidebar during searches?

Currently, I can see the total item count for each folder (e.g., “Biology (45)”), but when I perform a search, I’d like to also see how many items in each folder match my search query.

For example, if I search for “Photosynthesis” and Biology has 45 total items with 15 matches, I’d want to see something like “Biology (15/45)” or “Biology (15)” during the search.

This would help me quickly identify which folders contain the most relevant results without having to drill into each one individually.

Is this possible with current settings, or does anyone know of a workaround?

No, currently this is not possible nor is there a workaround. The request is noted, with no promises. In fact, it’s the first request I recall seeing.
