How to split PDFs of books into chapters

Hi there! I’m wondering if anyone has a good way of splitting/exploding PDFs of books into chapters. I found some much older threads on this that precede DTP3 and I wondered if anyone has advice on this.

I’m a novice at using scripts. But I’m certainly open to a solution that uses scripts or wondered if there’s a way to do this already built into any software. Thanks!

If you select the first page of a chapter and choose Tools > Split Document, the preceding pages will be split off into a new PDF document and removed from the current one. So you could do this at the beginning fo chapter 1, chapter 2, etc.
