How to take a Note from Safari?

From Safari, I want to either copy an entire page (format and all) or copy selected text into a DT entry. What is the best way to do either of these tasks?

Scott

  1. Copy selected text:

Either use the "Take plain/rich note" service or copy the text to the clipboard and use "New from clipboard" in DT.

  1. Entire pages:

View the HTML source in Safari, copy the source, create a new HTML page in DT and paste the source code. Or open the page in DEVONagent’s browser and press "Add to DEVONthink".

Christian:

Thanks very much for the fast reply. Another very “tactical” question … if I’ve navigated to a particular page in Safari (not through DA), what steps would I take to open that page in DA’s browser?

By the way, your specific, step by step answers are extremely helpful. Thanks

Disregard this note. I figured it out. Thanks.

The final 1.0 release of DEVONagent will provide an "Open URL" service to simplify this.
