Next is my wife. For the Mac she needs a second DevonThink-Licence too, or is a to-Go-Licence ok? If she needs the Devon-Think Licence:

How can we Synchronize the Databases?
For most cases like this, we would recommend using a Bonjour sync on your local network. Check out this forum post about using a Bonjour sync: Bonjour Simplified
My wife only works in the read only mode.
There is no read-only mode in DEVONthink databases. Either of you could make changes to a synced database.
Then my Database splits in the parts “private” and “Book”.
- Do you actually mean the database is split into parts?
- If so, there is no keeping someone from accessing the private parts of it. Ideally, you’d have separate private and Book databases.
In the Project “Book”, other Persons are involved. At least everyone of them need a DevonThink-Licence. Assume thet Someone run the scans and does the ocr’s to. Do everyone need the Pro-Version or only thoose persons who need the function.
Other than scanning and OCR, what are these “other Persons” actually doing?
