Is there any way to do this without having to make manual selection every time you import? In 3 seems like only options are Global Inbox or manual selection every time you import. In 2 I think you could select database you are working with and files coming in could automatically go to the Inbox for the selected database.
How exactly do you actually add data and from which application?
Fujitsu scanner, ScanSnap to DEVONThink. In DEVONThink seems like my only options are Global inbox or Select group, latter means you have to select the group after every document is scanned.
One option might be to use the global inbox instead, then smart rules could move the scans to the desired location.
