In DEVONthink 3.9.3 on Sonoma（14.0 and 14.1Beta）, importing from Notes.app is not working. After initiating the import, Notes.app opens, but nothing happens afterward.
Just tried this successfully on Sonoma. Is DEVONthink 3 allowed to automate Notes and does it have full disk access?
Yes, DEVONthink’s full disk access is set to ON.
And the automation setting?
Notes automation from DEVONthink is set to on.
Just a hunch. Look at the “Today” smart group after launch this import to check. DEVONthink doesn’t give any messages about working, and I’m thinking maybe you missed it? Just hunch.
Notes import working here, but I’m not yet on Sonoma…waiting till end of year, probably on the one of two machines I have that can take it.

I checked “Today” and there was no information about importing Notes. I can import Address books, but I don’t know why Notes can’t. Is there a log somewhere?
Yes. Menu: Help → type in “Log” and the menu option to access the log is shown.
Looking at the log, it seems that the last one out of 5 or 6 attempts was successful while I was away from my seat. The reason is unknown, but I was able to import Notes. It seems like something was preventing the script from running.
