I removed it from the sidebar. The Install Add Ons is grayed out for that option.

Never mind. Inbox reappeared in the Sidebar and it is working now… 
(It appeared at the bottom and I wasn’t looking there)

Sorry to rehash an old thread, just wanted to note that I came here via google because I also didn’t realize that “Inbox” in my favorites referred to my Devonthink Inbox.
I’m not sure if it’s worth changing, just thought devs would like to note the stumbling block.
It would be nice if it’s called “Inbox Devon Think” but one cannot rename it. Or if the icon would look a bit like Devon Think? Or can I change the icon in MacOS, when I’m not allowed to change the name?

You can change the icon of the folder, but the Finder’s sidebar will only show its pre-defined icons.
