Increase Resolution for Pictures in OCR Files

I’m using Devonthink 3.0 Beta 3. I know some people like the overall file size reduced when OCR is applied - if possible. I assume the overall dpi of the file that is being OCR’d by (and any pictures in the file) is dropped by ABBYY Finereader to accommodate this.

Is there any way to adjust the dpi of the OCR scans so that the resolution on pictures in the file isn’t lost as much? I don’t care about file size - bandwidth and disk space are relatively cheap.

Thanks,
Bob

It is not possible to change the dpi of the generated OCR’d file that ABBYY produces, however in the next beta there will be an option in the OCR Preferences to turn off compression when transferring annotations or adding metadata.
