I have SMB running on a Synology NAS. A shared folder homes is mounted on my Mac and its folder ck/Scans is indexed in DT.
When I copy a file into this initially empty folder, DT continues to show it as empty. Doing an “Update indexed items” doesn’t change that. There’s nothing in the Synology logs nor in DT’s protocol window. The “Information” popup shows - (1 Object) for the size of this folder, which I don’t understand either.
DT has full disk access. If I remove the indexed group in DT and add it again, it shows up correctly with the file. However, a new file added via Finder does not appear in DT.
I suppose that I’m doing something stupid or omitting to do something obvious. But what?
