Indexing of .eml

I’ve noticed that when I add a .eml from mail on my iPad, that it doesn’t seem to be indexed.

DTTG will show that it indexed. The little progress bar goes across the bottom of the screen and it states files were indexed.

The issue is when I search for a word within the .eml DTTG can’t find it.

It only seems to work after I force an index command on DTTG.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Have you purchased the Pro Pack (see DEVONthink To Go’s Settings > Manage) ?

Try this…
Select Help > Appendix > URL Commands > Performing Service Tasks and click the Execute link under reindex . Then quit and relaunch the application.

Using that command does in fact work. I already tried it. Am I going to have to do this every-time I add a .eml from iPad?!

No you shouldn’t have to and you’re reporting abnormal behavior.
Reboot the device if you haven’t and see if the issue persists.

Rebooted device and same issue.
