My mac has Sequoia 15.5, and I’ve been using DT Pro 3.9.9. I still have some DT2 files, which I seem to have no trouble using in DT3. I’d like to consider upgrading to DT4 but want to know if there is a reason to wait. Are there serious glitches in changing operating systems, which will likely be worked out in the near future?
The current version of the 3.x line is 3.9.17 and macOS Sequoia is 15.7.8. At a minimum, you should be staying current with the point releases.
That being said, the 3.x line is in maintenance and will be retired at some point. Version 4 is the actively developed version and we recommend you upgrade sooner rather than later. However, you should update the operating system and 3.x before you do.
