After resetting iCloud sync as in this thread Resetting iCloud based sync - #10 by tomka i noticed something new. The item count on the unified inbox is wrong on one of my iOS devices (iPhone), but not on iPadOS. Is this something to worry about?

Then there’s one “invisible” item. In the database that holds that invisible item, is there anything in the Tags that could be the culprit (e.g. an item that only exists inside a tag or such)?
Hmm. I’m not sure how to find out if there is an item that only exists inside a tag. But this item would not sync to other devices, right? On other devices I have exactly the same number next to “Tags” and “Papierkorb”.
And why are the counts for the individual inboxes correct, just not the count on the Unified inbox? How is that even determined if not by summing the numbers of the individual inboxes ??
We are looking into this issue but it’s likely a bug. The All Inboxes smart group is calculated differently than just summing up the numbers for performance reasons.
