Keyboard Shortcut to advance ruler?

Hi,

I’m wondering if there’s a possibility to advance the ruler with keyboard shortcuts like ( cmd+] ) to help with easy outlining.

Like for instance if I were to write this post in an outline and I wanted to make the second paragraph below this one to be permanently indented, I’d like to have a keyboard short to push the ruler indents so that I won’t need to press tab for each line of the second paragraph. Many of you know that pressing tab on each line doesn’t do much good because when the window is resized it would just make a mess of things.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the consideration.

One possibility is to use lists and Option-Tab.

Did not know about option+tab. This works for me. Thanks!

Can the bullet be hidden?

No. It’s only possible to use different ones, see Format > List.
